Checking for signs of a placental separation is essential as it can quickly become hazardous. The fetus maybe lost in almost 50% of cases and a careful delivery will need to be planned!
The delivery route either is normal or through a cesarean. The doctor will evaluate that and both will need supervision and arrangements for NICU care for the baby!
