Have you ever been camping?

Camping is a great activity for people who love the outdoors- can be done alone, with family or friends or work friends and teams – many types of camps

Have gone many times on work related operating camps and seeing patients in outdoor camp settings which is a novel experience- full of learning to service with less facilities-

Have done holiday camp with family where learnt about finding a good spot deep in a forest or near a waterfall. Setting up camp with tents and beds and food and drinks. Roasting Marshmallows after lighting a fire 🔥 and just watching the flames go up. Seeking warmth in a wonderfully cold time with the fire to spread warmth and comfort and love 💕.

So many unforgettable memories that have taught me valuable lessons about enjoyment in rustic settings…..

The operating camps were mainly for women who sought the family planning services for free by a procedure called a Tubectomy – done via the abdomen using a laparoscopic technique. Teams comprising of doctors, nurses, technicians and anesthesia experts. The whole system and organization of teamwork and execution can be a challenging process and success story as several people get a benefit in a short time- This is organized with a purpose and a facility to support families and also educate them!

These camps are a fun experience as they are away from routine settings with a smaller care center nearby with basic operating facilities!!
