Weddings will always occur all over and the planning varies from place to place. It is a joyous moment for families and friends to get together to wish the new couple a happy fulfilling life together,
We often wonder why we have elaborate celebrations on this occasion when it can be simplified to a simple ceremony with the bride and groom and a few family members and the priest or the religious person. Much thought and work and expense goes into the elaborate long ceremonies. These serve to show us that happiness can also be celebrated for many days if the pocket allows!
Opinions may vary, but this is a happy occasion and therefore celebrations are called for. People getting together and being happy together is always special!
